Just checking in...

I don't have access to my computer so no photos or layouts to share. Just wanted to check in from sunny Florida :) We are having a great time and I am of course getting tons of new photo for our scrapbook!! Hope you are all having a great week - be back Monday the 9th.

Spring Break

We are leaving for Florida on Wednesday so I thought I would share a few photos I took of Cinderella's Castle. The first was just before the fireworks started and the second was just after the sun went down. I thought they looked pretty magical - which is what Disney is all about right?!

Puppy Love

I made this layout last night and I really like it :) Don't you love when that happens?! Almost the Weekend

This sure has been a busy week but I am excited about tomorrow! I am taking a class at Archiver's during the day then meeting a new friend to scrap tomorrow night so I should have lots to share with you this weekend! Spring is here :)

I am feeling so much better today :) I went outside for a little while and upon close inspection I see that our beautiful front yard tree has just the tiniest of buds. I'm so excited because when this tree blooms it is breath taking! Above is a photo I took last spring of our tree.

Scrapbook Dreams

Sorry I haven't updated in a few days. I have strep throat and have been mostly sleeping. But I did have a dream about scrap booking - and the page I was making was cool so maybe when I am feeling better (hopefully by tomorrow now that I have some meds!) I will make my dream a reality :) The page above is one I made of my scrapbook room - which is made out of a walk in closet! Happy Saint Patrick's Day!

We are all dragging here due to Daylight Savings Time (yuck!) but I'm happy that spring is well on its way! Today I am sharing a layout I did over the weekend for our Kitchen Keepsakes album. I am having so much fun reliving our vacation while working on the pages from our trip to Greece! I feel so lucky to be a scrapbooker - it gives you the opportunity to relive all the great moments in your life! :)

I Love Sketches!

Thought I would share another quick sketch with you today in case you get to scrap over the weekend! I just love sketches and use them often when I scrapbook. It is amazing to me how the same sketch can be used by different people with such completely unique results. A sketch is a great "jumping off" point for starting a page while still letting you add all your own personality to make the layout yours. Enjoy!

Started on Greece Album

Lazy Sunday

Ahhhh...a nice lazy Sunday. Everyone home just doing our own thing but still together. Love it! I am hoping to scrap a little this afternoon too :) Hope you take some time this Sunday to relax! I am including another recipe page here - this is a great quick soup that I make often.

Brrrr...

Here is a layout from our trip to the Indiana Dunes in December - we had a beautiful day! Here in Omaha we are under about 14 inches of snow. Perfect weather to stay home and scrap! With all the bad weather around the country hope you are all keeping safe!

Lots of White Stuff!

Well, we got hit here last night! The kids are home for another snow day (they are thrilled to say the least!) My husband is out of town so I was force to shovel a path across the back porch for the dog to get out and man is it drifting! Planning a day of board games and movies with the kids :) Oh yeah - thought I would share a layout from a different snow day we had in January.
