I am loving my new system! Scrapping what I feel like when I feel like it! Something that has made the transition from chronological scrapping to this free style scrapping easier for me is that I have decided to do a summary page for each month of the year like the one above. I love it. Still have a record of our year in order but much easier then scrapping every. single. picture. from every. single. event. Cool!

10 things I love about Abbie right now
My daughter Abbie had the day off of school on Friday so we spent the day together just having some special girl time. We have so much fun together - she is the best daughter!
Just thought I would share 10 random things I love about being Abbie's mom right now.

3. Holding hands
4. Watching Dancing with the Stars together
5. Giving each other foot rubs
6. Watching her play soccer
7. Tucking her into bed every night
8. Listening to her talk to her Daddy on the phone
9. Cooking together
10. Seeing a glimpse of the woman she will be and loving what I see

Fall is here! :)
The berries on our tree red and the leaves are just starting to change. The weather has been so beautiful the last couple of weeks in Omaha...nothing like a bright blue sky, sunny warm days and cooler nights! Gotta love it :) Here is hoping for a few months of this before winter hits! Enjoy!

Dishes
I did this layout a while back about our dishes. I have had these old faithful dishes since I graduated from college and moved out on my own so I thought they deserved a page in my Kitchen Keepsakes album :) Lots more pages to share soon - just need to wait for the sewing class to end before I share them.

Friday Feast
Saw this on Tracy's blog (http://tracykosofsky.blogspot.com/) and thought it was fun! :)
Appetizer: When was the last time you had your hair cut/trimmed?
About a month and a half ago - I am going next Wednesday.
Soup:Name one thing you miss about being a child.
Playing outside with my best friend Billy.
Salad: Pick one- butter, margarine, olive oil.
Olive oil for sure - rarely use the other two.
Main Course: If you could learn another language, which one would you pick, and why?
Hmmm - I guess Spanish because I would have the most opportunity to use it.
Dessert: Finish this sentence: In 5 years I expect to be…going crazy as the mom of 3 teenagers but loving every minute of it!

9-11
I sit at my computer this morning, with the clouds over head and a gentle rain falling outside as I think about a morning seven years ago that changed so many things. I can't help but still feel the heartache of that day and the days that followed. Heartache - an actual physical pain - was what I felt that day when the planes hit. I will certainly hold my loved ones close today as I remember that horrible day and all that it changed.

WW Biscuit Recipe
I got this recipe for 1 point biscuits at my Weight Watchers meeting on Wednesday and tried them out last night - YUM! (Of course I couldn't just leave them alone - so I will share my variations too)
Original recipe:
6 Tbls self rising flour
3 Tbls skim milk
1 1/2 tsp non-fat plain yogurt
Heat over to 425 and spray cookie sheet. Mix all together and drop two spoonfuls onto sheet. Bake 10 -13 minutes.
Makes 2 biscuits at 1 point each.
I made mine into dessert:
6 Tbls self rising flour
3 Tbls skim milk
2 tsp diet strawberry yogurt
1 tsp splenda
optional:
strawberries
fat free cool whip
Heat oven to 425 and spray your pan. Mix together and drop spoonfuls onto sheet.
Bake 10-13 minutes. split biscuits open and top with a few slices strawberries and a dollop of cool whip. Enjoy!
Serves 2 at 2 points (made a little less!)
