Layouts!

Here are a few layouts I have completed recently. Some are for challenges and some just for fun :) I am really loving some of the new products I have! This first on is for my Book of Us album...Thanks for looking :)

For 2008 I am planning to do one page per month that sort of summarizes what we did during that month then if I want to do more I will - if not then this will do to record our comings and goings for the month :)

My Lucky Day

I was just catching up on my Google Reader last night and I saw that Tim Holtz was having a give-away on his blog (I just LOVE all of his stuff and read his blog regularly.) so I left a comment and didn't give it a second thought. Well - guess what - I won! :woo-hoo: How exciting it was to read my name!

I will be getting a set of grunge board, a mask, an embellishment pack - all BRAND new - not available in stores until September! How cool is that? Plus he is sending a limited edition Ideaology T-shirt too. Guess it is my lucky day today!

Back from Vacation :)

Hi everyone! Long time since I have blogged huh? :) We went on an extended vacation (almost 3 weeks) to Indiana/Chicago area, Indianapolis and Richmond Virginia. The kids and I spent the fourth with my Mom, Dad and Sister at a dear friends of ours lake house. It was so much fun! Then my mom and I set out for Virginia to visit Don and look at houses while the kids staying in Indiana with my mother-in-law. After a week there, we spent another week at my parents house and I managed to fit in a scrapping weekend with my buddies in Chicago. SO fun! But as is true with any trip it was good to get home - into our own beds! I will post some layouts that I finished at my crop soon :)

Nebraska Summer Storm

It was a big one! Here are some pictures from around our house. You can read more below the pictures...

Whew! We had quite a storm last night 80 mile an hour winds that blew everything that wasn't tied down away! Lots of trees down around here - luckily we are all safe! The worst we have right now is that it blew both our gates off the fence. Still need to have someone come out and check the roof too. We lost power during the storm and it was out for 12 hours so after I sent the kids swimming to get all the furniture out of the pool we read comics by candle light (at this point it was quite an adventure for them!) Today it is time to clean up - the pool, windows, yard and house is covered with leaves and twigs from the trees.

Scrappy Time!

Here are a few layouts that I finished recently - one for my Kitchen Keepsakes album and the other just trying to finish up Christmas pictures from last year ::eyeroll:: guess I am a bit behind! I have been scrapping a lot this week but most of the layouts are for the upcoming Positively Paper Class - love how they are turning out! Anyhow, hope all is well in your corner of the world!

Monday Happenings...

Come on out and have a little fun! We are hosting a small impromptu "scrap with us" on the Feeling Scrappy message board! Hope you will stop by to visit a little and maybe do a challenge or two :) We are also really gearing up for our Positively Paper class that starts on July 7th - the Creative Team is really knocking themselves out lots of awesome techniques for you!

On a personal note - Jacob and I had a great birthday yesterday! I can't believe I officially have a teenager in the house - where did my baby go? :::sniff::: Can't help but feel a little sad that he is growing up so fast! We all enjoyed some pool time, arcade games at Dave and Busters then dinner at the Melting Pot. We were stuffed but happy at the end of the day. It was also a nice send off for Don - he leaves this afternoon for Virginia to start his new job on Tuesday. We are all sad to see him go and are just hoping this house sells soon so that we can join him as soon as possible in Virginia. This is the worst part about relocating - the being apart. So with that I need to go for now. I will share some recent layouts and a few birthday pictures in my next post...
