Altered Canvas
Last Sunday I spent 3 hours getting messy. I have had this blank white canvas (16 x 20) staring at me for about 4 months now and as crazy as it sounds I was afraid to start. What was I waiting for? Enough was enough! So I spread out some newspaper, got out my paints, glimmer mist, mod podge and ink and went to work on my canvas. Once I started that was all it took - I felt so relaxed while I was working and I love the finish product! Not sure where I will hang it but it is not white anymore...

Jayne, I have a canvas sitting here for me too, but I wasn't sure where to start! Did you mod podge over the pictures too or just on the canvas to get the pics to stick? Thanks for sharing!

JAYNE!! I'm shouting, yes, with JOY - your canvas is GORGEOUS. Wow. I've had four 12x12 canvases staring at me for about the same amount of time. I'm liking this creative kick in the pants. Hmm ...
So cool Jayne - I have three canvases that I have had for about a year now - just waiting to do something cool with them - maybe your inspiration will help to get me started!
