Vacation Title Page

I have been scrapping our trip to Pensacola Beach from last August and I am just about done (most of the layouts were done for Feeling Scrappy's Embellish It! Class so I will share those soon!) but here is the title page - I just love this picture - it is of the view from our condo. So beautiful and soothing to the soul!! A perfect spot for a beach vacation!

Some layouts to share...

Here are a few layouts that I finished while scrapping with my friend Stacey. I don't get a lot done when I go to scrap with a friend but it is so nice to chat the day away! :) (Thanks for the fun time and awesome lunch Stacey!)

Summer Vacation is Here!

The last day for Omaha schools was Friday. Needless to say my children are thrill! I, on the other hand, have mixed emotions. Part of me is excited too - I remember the feeling of the last day of school when the summer stretched out in front of you filled with the promise of days filled with nothing more than playing in the sun. I am excited for them! As an adult, I am trilled with the fact that we will not have to be so strict with a schedule, that we can sleep in a bit and stay up later.

But I am also always a little sad...the end of each school year is one more sign that my "babies" are growing up. I know something that they don't know - these carefree days of playing in the sun are all too short and will slip by faster than any of us would like. So my plan is to spend as much time as possible just playing with and watching my children play this summer and I will treasure every moment of it!

We are moving!

Big news in the Jones household! Don just accepted a new position in Virginia. He will be starting on June 24th and I will stay with the kids in Omaha until we sell our house. Not sure exactly where we will be living just yet. He will be doing a similar job to what he does now so he will probably home office which means we can live anywhere between Richmond all the way to Virginia Beach. We will probably opt for somewhere in the middle around Williamsburg.

It is all still sinking in - over all I think it will be great for our family but my head is spinning thinking about lists of things to do. Please send some "house selling vibes" our way as that is my biggest concern right now!

If anyone reading this is familiar with that part of Virginia, I would love to hear your thoughts on the area so if you are willing to share please contact me at

I am so thrilled that spring is finally here in full force! The area is so beautiful filled with blooms and everything is so green! We have a large crab apple tree in the front yard that is beyond beautiful. Thought I would share a few photos I took with you. Enjoy it while it lasts! :)

In honor of National Scrapbook Day this weekend I thought I would post a little blog give-away.
Just post in the comments before I draw on Monday morning 5/5 for your chance to win these cute clear stamps.
